The Yemeni official authorities have recovered bodies of Africans who died while trying to reach Yemeni coasts off the southern governorate of Lahj.
The 79 bodies included Yemeni 4-sailor crew whose boat capsized off Yemeni coasts, Xinhua quoted a spokesman for Lahj local authority as saying.
The bodies were found in al-Jahaf shore, near Ras al-Ara port, Sa'adan al-Yafei added, noting that tens of bodies are still in the sea.
Lahj local authority called on the International Organization of Migration to intervene amid fears of an environmental disaster if the other bodies decompose.
On Monday, 25 bodies of African migrants were picked up from the Arabian Sea, where more than 200 people sank, according to a local official in Lahj.
