SANA'A, May,1-Eight million children in Yemen are under threat of death because of food and water shortage in the country, Seyaj Organization for Childhood Protection said on Thursday.
Many governorates in the country are seeing armed clashes between the Houthi group and anti-Houthi fighters.

The organization released a statement, calling for immediate relief efforts to save the lives of eight million children who are living catastrophic food and health conditions.
The organization warned against the deteriorating humanitarian situation due to the current blockade which has prevented the delivery of food and medication as well as fuel for about one month.
According to the organization, food reserve of about 60 percent of Yemeni families has finished. These families are unable to secure food supplies, said the organization.
Seyaj Organization for Childhood Protection is a Yemeni non-profit private organization headquartered in Sana'a. It was founded in 2008.
