SANA'A, Aug.9-Anti-Houthi resistance fighters have revolted against the Houthis in the governorate in line with the continuous victories of resistance fighters in several governorates in Yemen.

Local sources told the Yemeni Media Center the resistance fighters in Ibb have mobilized early Sunday to break into Al-Hamza military camp after a series of Saudi-led airstrikes on the camp.

The sources said over 12 airstrikes hit the camp on Saturday and early Sunday, a thing which has emboldened the resistance fighters in Ibb to gather and prepare to storm the Houthi-controlled Al-Hamza military camp.
The sources said explosions at the camp lasted three hours following the airstrikes.

This military camp belongs to the now-dissolved Republican Guard, an elite force which was under the command of former president Ali Saleh's son, Ahmed.

According to the sources, the Saudi-led Arab coalition warplanes parachuted weapons and ammunitions for the resistance fighters in Al-Awd area of Ibb.

On Saturday, the resistance fighters in Al-Hazm district of Ibb declared Al-Hazm as liberated from the Houthis.
Such an announcement came after bloody clashes in which the Houthis 'security officer in the district was killed besides others.
